Our family and families may look different on the outside, but we mostly desire to give and receive love.
We’ll be the first to give sometimes. Other times, we do need to allow ourselves to open up again.
To open up is to be brave enough to take the chance of possibly getting hurt again. To possibly love again. To possibly trust again.
Marriage? I’m still an amateur at it. Learning every day. I trust my wife with my life and I know she trusts me with hers. We are two very different people, with two very different pasts, and we are all the more grateful to have met each other thanks to our histories.
Why don’t we all take a chance today to think about those who we love or like and send them some warm and fuzzy comfortable vibes? It could make all the difference for one person – and for that one person, it could mean the whole world.
